JT designs and hosts trips. These trips can be simple or involved but each is tailored to the group and his vast experience of having unmatched levels of global fun. Whether it is early access ski runs at Squaw Valley, remote helicopter skiing or a linear adventure day that includes skydiving, water skiing, mountain biking and dune buggies, it will be the experience of a lifetime.
JT is an experienced keynote speaker comfortable with audiences large and small. He creates a unique presentation based on each audience which stimulates great conversations. In 2014, JT was Executive Producer a local television show for Deerfield Media. His show, called The Line, began with a modest audience of 500,000 households, it quickly became 30% of the market share of men age 18-39 and became syndicated in Jackson Hole, Boise, Salt Lake City, Pensacola Florida and Mobile Alabama. The show received a Telly Award and as of January, 2016 will be distributed nationally.

JT Holmes is a professional multi-sport athlete, and an award winning stunt coordinator and television Executive Producer. Jeffrey Taggart (“J.T.”) Holmes, Jr. is an innovative professional athlete who takes professional skiing, airborne sports and stunt performances to the next level. For 16 years, J.T. has been at the progressive edge of the human flight movement, pushing the sports of skiing, Ski-B.A.S.E. jumping, skydiving, wingsuit flying, B.A.S.E. jumping and Speed Riding to new limits. J.T.’s athletic career has segued into work with the motion picture business, commercial production, and public and corporate speaking.
The Emmy nominated 60 Minutes’ “The Birdmen” feature, starring J.T., is one of the program’s most watched segments. J.T. has also been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, CBS This Morning, The CBS Early Show, and the Discovery Channel’s Adrenaline Lab with Bear Grylls. J.T. is featured in the marketing campaign for Apple computers and Final Cut Pro. J.T. was the on-camera principle performer and stunt coordinator for the launch of Google Glass. The aerial sequence that J.T. performed en route to delivering the new product to Google co-founder Sergey Brin has been viewed by millions worldwide. In April 2015, Holmes completed a high speed multi-sport descent of the Eiger in Switzerland which was again documented by CBS 60 Minutes with Anderson Cooper for release in Fall of 2015.
J.T. has 32 years of skiing experience. He has been featured in Warren Miller movies since 1995. In addition to being a world-class skier and competitor on the Freeride World Tour, J.T. pioneered the sport of Ski-B.A.S.E. jumping which combines skiing and B.A.S.E. jumping to allow athletes to ski off of exit points that would be otherwise impossible, by deploying parachutes on jumps that can exceed 1,000 feet. J.T. is now focused on Speed Riding, which is skiing while flying a small parachute that enables its pilot to ski where otherwise impossible and skim over steep formidable terrain with grace.
J.T. is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. His leadership of the stunt scene in Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon earned the Taurus World Stunt Award for Best Specialty Stunt. J.T. coordinated stunts in Godzilla and Hangover 3. He performed stunt driving in The Amazing Spiderman 2 and stunt performances as well as skydive cinematography for Fast and Furious 7. His work was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble. J.T. has starred in commercials for Coors Light, Ford, Porsche, Hotels.com, Pirelli Tires, and Nationwide Financial. He leads industry-leading stunt ensembles worldwide.
J.T. directs a program -- for the non-profit High Fives Foundation -- called B.A.S.I.C.S., an acronym for Be Aware Safe In Critical Situations, which is dedicated to awareness of the importance of developing prerequisite skills before undertaking adventures in the mountains. J.T. supports The Shane McConkey Foundation, among other charitable causes.
J.T’s hobbies include off-road racing. The Holmes Racing team won 2nd place in the Baja 500 Class 7200 truck division. J.T. is pursuing a pilot’s license. J.T.’s sponsors include Go Pro, HEAD, Smith, Red Bull and Squaw Valley USA. He is a published writer, and has been featured in Sports Illustrated, National Geographic, Outside Magazine, Playboy Magazine, Freeskier Magazine, Powder Magazine, and Men’s Journal. J.T. earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada at Reno. He lives in Squaw Valley, California.
